Truth is objective. Facts link to answers that do not care about the outcome of feelings. We teach about the importance of feelings in order to assist emotional and physical wellness. Feelings are rooted in both subjective/objective truth, which blur the line of what is factual. Subjective truth is relativism at the core. It is an intellectual vacuum that ideological movements exploit to advance their goals and agendas.
Early memories of positive and negative experiences impact who we are as individuals. They shape our culture, worldview, and inform our sense of self. Most remember times with family that were special and memorable. Seldom are these linked to politics or a political figure. The lack of core memories around political issues should inform us that self-discovery is more important than getting caught in governmental arguments and frustrations.
Society has stopped discovering and lost the spirit of personal responsibility and accountability. Relativism undermines the social fabric by creating entitlement and victimhood. A classless society appeals to those who blame others for their problems. When nothing is certain and everything is relative the country may seem nihilistic and full of despair.
Relativism calls for DEI to solve the worlds ills, and could be called the disease of the mind that infects individuals to believe in Marxism. Once you drop the illogical allure and talking points of Marxist beliefs, you can see that there are many failures of this model. Economics are never efficient, individual liberties lose control to authoritarians, government is corrupted because they are the only ones in power, and in trying to make all equal society becomes less equal.
We need to rediscover America and the Constitution with excitement.
